Negril is an economical Brava 57 powercat built for ocean cruising in classic style. She has been recently refurbished by her sole owner and features a thoughtful design with four cabins delivering plenty of flexibility.
The galley is reminiscent of one’s own home kitchen with full domestic stove, oven and washing machine, and a full-size domestic fridge is conveniently situated just inside the 18m covered aft deck.
Two recently refurbished Yanmar engines push out 630 hp, and can deliver 25knots while still burning just 20 l/hr hour at 10 knots, a performance that can hardly be met by most modern cats. Her slim hull designs mean less water is pushed aside translating into excellent economy, and 5000 litres of diesel tankage give you approximately 2,500nm of range.
A 10KVa genset and air conditioning in all the cabins create a comfortably cool cat when cruising in the humid tropics, and ample solid biminis cover the outdoor entertainment areas. So, on a lovely day you can be sun shaded and enjoy your views of the nearby palm-fringed beach in comfort, fanned by the sea breezes.
There is ample storage space for an extra RIB, scuba tanks, dive compressors, meaning you can really isolate and enjoy life away from the crowds with seven of your best buddies or family.
Negril is available to ship worldwide or drive her to your home port for an unforgettable experience. Alternatively, stay in one of the world’s best cruising grounds for a year or two before heading off around the ocean of your choice.
