Custom 50ft Luxury Alloy Cruising Cat | SeaCat2
SeaCat2 is a luxury 50ft alloy expedition catamaran commissioned in 2004 and with a layout modelled on the ‘Buzzcat Catamarans’ design
She is purpose built as a coastal cruising catamaran for extended remote use around Australia's coastline. Heavily constructed in aluminium and built without compromise, this 50ft self-sufficient vessel was designed by renowned designer Gavin Mair and constructed by NQEA shipwrights to Lloyd’s high standards.
Her narrow-designed beam can also enable her to fit into monohull berths in marinas, making her both cost effective and versatile with the benefit of a catamaran’s performance and stability.
On the lower level, Seacat2 boasts a luxurious fit out in the saloon and galley, with an enclosed lounging area in the cockpit with access to the day head and shower. She features a big aft transom area for dive and swim access, and a full-sized galley with domestic appliances and table seating for eight.
The comfortable forward master cabin has a large private ensuite, and there are additional double guest cabins in the port and starboard hulls.
The flybridge incorporates a well-equipped helm area and a large plush lounge / entertainment space with TV and bar. The aft deck area has an enclosable sun deck making it the perfect spot to relax and watch the sun go down.
The catamaran has a compact workshop area with electricals and convenient access to the engine room through a watertight bulkhead. The starboard-side hull aft houses more refrigeration and access through the watertight bulkhead to the other engine room.
SeaCat2 includes state-of-the-art, stand-alone solar systems, and for back up, a 22kva Onan generator. Through the water, she is powered by economical twin Cummins 210 hp 6bta diesel engines with low hours.
She has a 90ltr p/h water maker and plenty of communication and entertainment systems. For optimal comfort, SeaCat 2 has full reverse-cycle airconditioning to all cabins and main entertainment areas. She also has a blackwater processing plant and discharge system that complies with state and remote area regulations. A removable manual stabiliser is also available for added comfort, if required.
Multihull Solutions can assist with relocation of this vessel to your port of choice, including providing various quotations for shipping or delivery crew and managing the process.
SeaCat 2 has many more features and additions. Visit the Multihull Solutions website for her full inventory and further information, and contact James to arrange an inspection.
