Here is a true globe trotter, a steel ketch from the board of Ralph Osborne, a Swedish designer of note. 'LOJAN' is a long keeled yacht equipped for long distance, self sufficient cruising. She is only in her second ownership, built in Sweden for her original owner by Halmstad Marine Industry. A pretty round bilge design with tough features such as a crash protection pipe welded into the bow, already tested against a container ! The steel is well painted and was zinc coated inside and out, condition appears very good today.
LOJAN is nicely equipped with good navigation and electronic gear, batteries very well arranged and managed. There is an inside steering station in the small pilothouse, secondary steps into the accommodation. The set up is compact and most probably suited best for just a couple, present owner wants a bigger yacht in this regard.

The yacht is a two cabin boat, a double full forward with adjacent bathroom and a large single fully aft through the passageway to port. An additional single berth pulls down in this passageway. The interior design, whilst a seaworthy type, is a bit of a squeeze for four people, the yacht will be best suited to a couple or young family. The interior is fitted out with beautiful heavy teak, interestingly sent to Germany from Malaysia at the time.

Additional charging capacity from four 100 watt solar panels with MPPT controller, 250 watt wind generator, shaft alternator, main engine BOSCH 90 amp alternator, and HONDA 20i genset.
Ketch rig, SELDEN main and SELDEN mizzen keel stepped. A great triple headstay design, flying three headsails. She can enjoy wing on wing plus has the excellent working staysail for stiffer conditions.
