Wooden 32 William Atkin Bermundan Ketch. Lying at this yard for ease of viewing. This is a PROJECT vessel and offers will be looked at.The tale of this William Atkin Bermudan Ketch is a fascinating story of a boat whose keel was laid down in 1965 by a Cardiff craftsman and a build process that is still ongoing today. She has been afloat only once to check her marks and move yards, but other than that she has remain in the yard in a state of ongoing work, until sold to the present owner. The design is believed to be a William Atkin ’Eric’, similar to the ketch ‘Suhalim’, and after buying the plans the previous owner set out to build his dream yacht. The rigours of life however meant that the process took longer than expected and now she has to go to some else who can finish off and then enjoy at sea. This is a superb opportunity to obtain a very stout and capable sailing yacht where almost all the hard work has been done and with a little skill and effort and time she could be on the water ready to take on the sea.
The owner has more spare equipment at his home, and the new owner will come to the yard and identify the parts that go with her.
